The O'Connor Legacy.... 

 

                                 What is the Moon Curse you may ask? It is a century old curse that allows a human to transform themselves a dark beatly harvenger of death that has the power to spread its evil over the far reaches of man kind like a plege, this monster is known as Lycanthrope. Lycan's have lived and thrived all through the dark ages traveling all through history all the way to this modern era. They are visious man-eatting monsters that are half-man, half wolf. They have been known throughout history as Lycans or a more common name Werewolves.

During the dark ages Paitence's grandfather Christopher O'Connor had lived a simple life, he made his way a simple blacksmith, fashioning swords of a great calibur and even crafted swords that seemed before there time. He had a family a wife and two small children, he lived happily until the day he was on his way back from a hard day of laboring in the near village. Christopher lived in a small secluded cabin a mile outside the village, as he approached he noticed his door was wide open as he approached the house he heard a savage, deep growl came from the inside of his house. As he approached and peered inside, his eyes widened in true horror at the sight before him a wolf that stood like a man was ripping into the body of his 4 year old son, the bodies of his beloved wife and 8 year old daughter lifeless bodies lay in a shallow pool of blood.

                                  Rage filled Christopher's heart and without thinking he lunged at the creature drawing his bronze sword from its sheath and swinging it wildly at the creature. However, Christopher proved to be no match for the creature as it quickly overwhelmed the man. As it was about do onto Christopher what it did to his family, dawn broke and like a bad dream the creature vanished. Overwhelmed by the grief of loosing his family, Christopher became obsessed with the thought of finding a way to seek revenge on the creature that had murdered his family and stole whatever kindness he had in his heart. For years Christopher reasearched, trained and spoke to thousands of scholars learning everything the world had to offer about the creature he desperately wanted to take revenge upon.

                                 In the years of gathering all the knowledge he could Christopher not only learned that the creature who attacked his family was called a werewolf, but that they were highly allergic to silverand could even die from it. Christopher took his blacksmith and quickly put them to good use as she began to fasion a varity of diffrent weapons swords, daggers, and arrow heads (since guns were not around during this era), the materials he used to fashion these weapons were bronze, however he took his wife's grandmother's pure silver plates, bowls and silverware and melted them down coating the blades of his weapon's in silver. Now all that was left was to put it to the test....
